WEBSITE CONTENT

The Vine Club has attempted to make all information, imagery, and pricing on this website as accurate as possible, however there are no guarantees given to this accuracy & all errors and omissions excepted.

The Vine Club primarily sells wines that are not fit for the mass market due to label irregularities, outdated vintages, export wines etc, and therefore images and label information depicted on the website listing may differ from what the actual bottle looks like. No refunds or returns will be accepted because of a difference in look of what is depicted on the listing versus what is received by the consumer. 

STOCK AVAILABILITY

Stocks on all goods offered are limited and although stocks are inventory capped before a deal goes live, we cannot be held responsible if unexpected errors of overselling occur. In the case of overselling, the customer will be refunded in full. The Vine Club does not hold stock but rather purchase based on confirmed orders, in order to minimise warehousing costs and wastage.

VINTAGES

As far as we possibly can, The Vine Club try to sell vintages listed on the product description, but in some cases vintages sell out without notice from our suppliers, therefore, the current vintage will be dispatched to our clients in replace of the vintage ordered. Differing vintages do NOT qualify for refunds. This does NOT apply to reserve vintages selling at a high cost and specifically know for the vintage.

AGREEMENT OF SALE

An agreement of sale between The Vine Club and a user is recognised when a credit card authorisation is received from the issuing bank or monies have reflected into The Vine Club’s bank account.

The Vine Club reserves the right to refuse to accept and/or execute an order as well as fully or partially cancel an order without giving any reasons. The Vine Club shall only be liable to refund monies already paid by the user.

The Vine Club shall take all reasonable efforts to maintain correct deal prices, however, should errors on pricing occur, The Vine Club will not be obliged to sell goods at such incorrect pricing and shall only be liable to refund monies paid.

WEBSITE PRIVACY POLICY

This is the website of The Vine Club. We can be reached at info@vineclub.co.za for more company information. We collect no information on browsers of our website, unless volunteered. The information that is volunteered will be used by The Vine Club for communication and marketing purposes. This volunteered information is stored in fully secure databases with restricted access. This information may be updated by the user through our login function on the website, or by contacting us directly. We do not share our customer information with third parties, unless clearly stated in a joint venture

CREDIT CARD SECURITY

Credit card transactions will be processed for The Vine Club via PayFast (Pty). PayFast uses the strictest form of encryption, namely Secure Socket Layer (SSL) with 2048-bit encryption, the highest level encryption available. Users may go to www.payfast.co.za to view their security certificate and security policy. The Vine Club will store customer details, but will not store customer credit card details, which will be stored by payfast.

PAYMENT OPTIONS ACCEPTED

Payments made by Visa, Mastercard credit cards, Instant EFT and SnapScan.

Neither The Vine Club nor any of its agents or representatives shall be liable for any damage, loss or liability of whatsoever nature arising from the use or inability to use this website or the services or content provided from and through this website. E&OE.

SECURITY

This site is secured by SSL. Any person attempting to deliver damaging code to this website resulting in loss or damage to The Vine Club will be prosecuted and damages shall be claimed.

GOVERNING LAW

This site is hosted, controlled and operated from the Republic of South Africa and therefore the South African law and The Vine Club chooses as its domicilium citandi et executandi for all purposes under this agreement, whether in respect of court process, notice, or other documents or communication of whatsoever nature.

DELIVERY DETAILS

Delivery is door-to-door countrywide (please note: free delivery is only applicable to deliveries in South Africa, when "free delivery" is offered) but otherwise charges vary according to the geographic area you live in.

Cape Town (and surrounds): R69 (1 – 2 working days)

JHB & Outlying Areas: R129 (2 – 5 working days)

** Please note that outlying areas do take longer than the normal main city deliveries, as they don't all have their own depots.

Non-delivery of wine should be communicated to us within 21 days of ordering.

INSURANCE

Your product is insured against breakage or theft whilst in transit with our courier partner. An insurance of up to R1000 of the value of your purchase will be debited to your card. Breakages surpassing the value of R1000 will be dealt with directly – info@vineclub.co.za

CANCELLATIONS / REPLACEMENTS/ REFUNDS

Once an order has been placed, it cannot be cancelled, replaced, or refunded.

If you receive your order, and there is a broken bottle in your case, we will refund you for the value of the broken bottle, provided you have contacted us within 3 working days of receiving your order and have submitted proof of breakages. If The Vine Club supplies the wrong product or if the product is in any way faulty (this excludes damage to the outer box), The Vine Club will exchange the product for the correct one, or refund you for the damage. This does NOT apply to personal preference on taste or enjoyment. NO refunds will be given based on personal preference of taste. In the unlikely event wine needs to be returned back to our warehouse because of a fault, the customer will need to cover the cost of the courier before any refunds are made.
