The Saxenburg Syrah Select 2019 is an incredible wine, truly worthy of the Saxenburg Syrah Select label. Dark and brooding, the nose is a concentrated medley of fresh dark berries, salty liquorice, oyster shell, and black pepper. The palate is full, but possesses beautiful brightness, with a wonderful lift of fruit on the mid-palate. The mouthfeel is long and lingering, and the tannins are fine, but provide just enough grip to the back of the palate.
